Katy Parodi, Operations Manager – I’ve been working in insurance for over 33 years, first working for Mary Jane Lake and now with Larry. There is such satisfaction in telling someone, “Don’t worry, you’re covered.” I’m a lifelong resident of Gardnerville and I love the outdoors, running, hiking, boating, and snowboarding. I’m married and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Shonna Saunders, Licensed Producer – I’ve been working in insurance for over 8 years, along with Katy, I started working for Mary Jane Lake and now with Larry. I love nothing more than to review insurance policies with clients and make sure that the policies we write are custom for them. I’ve lived in Gardnerville for 31 years, and I love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and cooking. I’m married and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Kris Brown, Customer Service Representative – I’ve been working in insurance for over 7 years, along with Katy and Shonna, I also started working for Mary Jane Lake and now with Larry. I enjoy working with our clients and helping them with their insurance needs. I’ve lived in Gardnerville for over 25 years and in my spare time I enjoy drag racing, reading, spending time with my family and enjoying my backyard. I’m married and have 1 dog.

Mike Olson, Commercial Specialist – I’ve recently started working for Larry Peyton Insurance, I have been involved in the Insurance Industry for over 40 years, I have a strong worker’s compensation understanding and knowledge of business practices and environments, I am able to understand your business and will provide the best options available to assure appropriate coverage of your business operations and risks. I have been involved in serving the Douglas County Community for over 20 years as an elected official and a community member.

Leo Young, Licensed Producer – I joined the Larry Peyton Insurance firm in 2023 and I am looking forward to meeting all of you. I am a 6^th generation Nevadan who loves her roots. After many years in the customer service industry, I understand the importance of communication and integrity. In my free time, I enjoy snowboarding, camping, and doing anything the outdoors has to offer. Growing up in the Reno/Tahoe area is something I never take for granted.
